The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and commercial with experience of commissioning services within the private healthcare sector, ideally in a medium to large care home group. You will also have at least 5 years experience with a proven track record at Manager level within the nursing home environment and have had success at building good relationships with external resources and authorities in order to promote and establish the service.

Main duties will include:
• staff structuring and recruitment of staff,
• budgetary responsibilities,
• a good understanding of person centered care and bespoke care plans to be passed down to your new team,
• and an ability to support and delegate to a new staff team whilst working on promoting a brand new service.
• an RMA/LMCS is essential along with good proven track record within a similar environment.
• RGN/RMN is preferred, but is not essential.
• market research, local knowledge, marketing and networking,

As an experienced clinical coder leader you will be responsible for the abstraction of clinical data from patient records and translating it into diagnostic (ICD10) and OPCS4.5 procedure coding classifications.

Flexible in your approach, you are able to work as part of a team to tight deadlines. You will have a good knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology.

As the Domiciliary Care Manager you will have the opportunity to join this brand new service and assist with the set up and development of home care services to the Elderly in and around Croyden. You will be required to set p new relationships with local authorities such as PCTs and market the new service to potential users. In addition you will also take responsibility for the recruitment, training and development of your staff team whilst ensuring CQC standards are exceeded at all times.

To be considered for this position you will ideally have

• NVQ level 3 or 4 in Health and Social Care.
• a background from within domiciliary care management, ideally gained from within a social care or service delivery environment, where achieving and maintaining quality standards are critical to business success.
• Proven management, communication and business skills will enable you to lead the team whilst developing excellent and productive relationships with care staff, service users and key business contacts.

As Deputy Manager, your responsibilities will mostly be supernumerary to support the home with standards of nursing and care provision. You will ensure that each resident has an individual care plan that is followed and evaluated, assist with staff appraisals, recruitment and development, and be able to delegate duties to the care team effectively. You are also required to undertake any other reasonable and relevant duties set by the Home Manager from time to time.

You will hold the RGN or RMN qualification with at least 2/3 years post qualification and ideally with managerial/supervisory experience gained within a nursing home environment. This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected care group.

Some of your duties may include: Care Plans, Risk Assessments, report writing, wound care, catheterisation, phlebotomy, staff training, supervisions, audits, etc. Identify areas for improvement and action as appropriate. You will also be required to work 1 weekend in 3, shifts to cover nurse vacancies when required.
